Coeur d’Alene Tribal Resort

The Coeur d’Alene Tribal Casino Resort is an existing 250,000 square foot complex located in the rolling hills of Northern Idaho. The Palouse region near the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene is the homeland of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. In June 2011 a major resort renovation was completed, lead by Mithun. The master plan aligns the Coeur d’Alene’s physically beautiful environment with its desire to honor ancestral heritage, balanced with the modern world. The new hotel and spa target LEED sustainability and a 4-star resort experience. The RMB Vivid team led the design for environmental graphics and tribal expressions throughout the property. Design features include interpretive markers for the ethno-botanical walk, resort entry monuments integrated into the landscape, full site signage and interior wayfinding, Gathering Place video wall and on-screen design and a 110 ft. backlit glass wall mural featuring tribal dancers in the newly built Skycatcher welcome lobby.
