ARCADE is the magazine for the contemporary Northwest design community, provides an independent voice for design dialogue and a platform to explore and promote quality design in the built environment. Each year the magazine is designed by a graphic design firm, selected by a panel comprised of architects and editors at the magazine. Desire, flanuering and energy effects are some of the editorial topics the RMB Vivid team explored during our design tenure with the magazine. Brian Boram currently sits on the editorial board for the magazine and has been instrumental in raising funds for this volunteer organization.
In 2014, Brian was the Feature Editor of ARCADE 32.2 Empathy, Fire and Spades: Design for Social Innovation. Brian worked closely with designer Tom Eykemans and a wide variety of contributors to deliver topics ranging from reimagining NYC probation centers to an infographic mapping the modern manifesto.
